Yachiyo Engineering (YEC) and Atomis have been introducing the concept of “Smart Gas Network with a next-generation high-pressure gas container CubiTan®” in the virtual exhibition of ‘Japan Pavilion’ at the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan from November 11 to 22, 2024.
The COP is an international conference where leaders of international organizations, governments, NGOs, businesses and others gather to discuss international directions and rules for combating global warming. The ‘Japan Pavilion’ is a platform organized by the Ministry of the Environment designed to showcase Japan’s superior technologies, products and services that support Japan’s long-term goal of “Net Zero by 2050” climate change action, as well as global decarbonization. This is the first time the Smart Gas Network isintroduced at the COP. Besides the virtual exhibition which held online, a video introducing the Smart Gas Network has been played at the Japan booth set up in the on-site event.
